Dental Plans

Cigna is the provider of record for the Dental Insurance plan as offered by the Rutherford County Government.

To find out if your dentist is in-network, please access the provider directory by following the steps below:

Go to www.cigna.com
Click on "Find a Doctor, Dentist or Facility"
On the right side of the page (under heading Not A Cigna Customer Yet?) click on "Plans through your employer or school"
Enter your city under SEARCH LOCATION
Click on the orange "PICK" button and then click on "DENTAL PLANS"
            If you are looking for a dentist under DHMO, choose the circle "Cigna Dental Care Access Plus"
            If you are looking for a dentist for Option 1 or 2, choose the circle "Total Cigna DPPO (Cigna DPPO Advantage and Cigna DPPO)
            Then click the orange "CHOOSE" button
Either enter a description in the SEARCH: (ex: oral surgeon, dentist, etc.) and click on the orange magnifying glass to view in network providers.
